HOW BOOKING WORKS
At Viking Lifestyles, every journey is custom-designed around your interests, travel style, and goals. To ensure a seamless planning experience, every trip follows a simple three-phase process.
Phase 1: Journey Design ($500 Per Person Planning Deposit)
Your planning deposit reserves your place in my planning calendar and allows me to begin designing your custom Norway journey.
This includes:
- Personalized itinerary design
- Accommodation research and recommendations
- Transportation planning
- Viking and cultural experiences
- Direct consultation and trip refinement
Your planning deposit is fully applied toward your final trip balance.
Phase 2: Reservation Deposit (35%)
Once you approve your custom itinerary and decide to move forward, a 35% reservation deposit is collected.
This allows me to begin securing accommodations, transportation, excursions, and specialty experiences while locking in availability and protecting your itinerary from future price increases.
Your reservation deposit is fully applied toward your final trip balance.
Phase 3: Final Balance (60 Days Prior to Departure)
Your remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure.
At this stage, you will receive:
- Final itinerary
- Reservation confirmations
- Transportation details
- Activity vouchers
- Travel documents
- Direct support information
