Behind the Brand:
As a proud Norwegian, I have been back and forth to Norway from the U.S. since I was less than one year old. I had the pleasure of living in Norway, working in Norway, and going to school in Norway.
I quickly fell in love with Viking Age history as I saw how many things within their history naturally aligned with the way I chose to live life.
The Northmen from the Viking age had an incredible desire for adventure and discovering the unknown.
They had a surprisingly strong dedication and love for their families, and they saw them as a unit that must be kept as strong as possible.
It is no surprise that the Vikings had a strong belief in being strong and imposing strength, whether it was on their enemies at the time, or having to be able to perform in a "Holmgang,” which was an epic duel between two men for everything that they own. You had to be strong if you wanted to be respected during the Viking age, especially if you wanted to lead.
I have enjoyed creating a strong online community of fellow Vikings where we talk about many unique aspects of the Viking Age and Nordic culture while travelling to uniqe locations.
As we continue to grow, I plan on traveling throughout the Nordic countries and Scandinavia while unraveling exciting Viking history and speaking to people who know much more than we do about each location and its ties to Norse settlers.
